Nebrodi pigs are raised for two years, en plein air. According to the Presidium. Bend sausage, with a thin grain. Sweet and soft, not too dry this product has a unique and incredible taste. Soft taste of wild fennel seeds.
Why is this product so special?
The bigs coming from the Nebrodi area in Sicily walk a lot. Their skin is black. They can reproduce in poor areas and in the most difficult environments. They live in fresh air and their shelters are the so called 'zimme, small constructions made of stone.
