Sicilian Organic Honey: Eucalyptus Honey

From the Sicilian producer Apicoltura Oliva 1850, from the Sicilian countryside of Solarino, province of Siracusa. Nomadic bees, careful attention to details, beekeepers since 6 generations. 

Strong and intense taste. With balsamic touches, slightly smoked. Its aftertaste reminds of licorice and caramel. Less sweet than the other honeys. 

Food pairing: perfect match for old, aged and intense cheeses, like gorgonzola or old pecorino. It is delicious also if matched with blue-veined cheeses, thanks to its balsamic notes.
