TRECCE WITH COD FISH, SHRIMPS AND CAPERS (X2)

Ingredients:
- 200 gr trecce
- 1 small onion
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 tbsp wild salted capers
- 100 gr of cod fish
- 100 gr cleaned shrimps
- 10 cherry tomatoes
- fresh parsley
- olive oil, salt and pepper
Start boiling some water in a large pot. Slice thinly the onion and let it cook in a tbsp of olive oil until transparent. Add the minced garlic clove. Cut the fish in small pieces and add it to the pan together with the shrimps. Cook it at medium heat for 3 minutes. Add the cherry tomatoes, previously halved, and the capers. Cover with a lid, lower the heat and cook for 5 to 10 minutes. Taste the sauce and bring to flavor with salt and pepper, if necessary. When the water boils, add 1 tbsp of salt and stir to let it dissolve. Add the trecce and cook for about 10 minus. Once the pasta is cooked, drain it and add it to the warm sauce. (Keep some of the cooking water!) If the sauce is too dry, add some of the cooking water and stir to get a nice creamy sauce. At the very end add some fresh chopped parsley. Enjoy it warm!
