Clean the anchovies, remove everything and open them. Then you can marinate them with lemon juice. At least for one hour. They have to be extra fresh or you can use our anchovies filets, from Sicily

If the bread is with sesame seeds it is even better because it gives a special taste to the whole dish. 

Grill the slices of bread. Pour some drops of intense extra virgin olive oil on the bread and them put the anchovies on top. One anchovy per slice. 

Season with lemon juice, extra virgin olive oil again and red hot chili peppers flakes. 

And enjoy this succulent dish. Close your eyes, enjoy the sea and Sicily in your mouth!
