Materia is a small Apulian maker turning seasonal vegetables into contemporary creams, made in small batches.
A jam that tells the story of one of summer’s most fascinating fruits.
Sweet, tender, and naturally aromatic *fioroni* figs meet honey—which enhances their rounded flavor—and sage, which adds a delicate, fresh, balsamic note.
Curiously, the *fiorone* is not a true fruit but a "false fruit": what we eat is a fleshy inflorescence containing hundreds of tiny flowers.
The result is an intense yet elegant jam, where the sweetness of the fig and honey is balanced by the aromatic freshness of the sage, creating a rich, harmonious, and lingering flavor.
