Crema all’aglio - Garlic spread - Fratelli Burgio

The Burgio brothers are a Sicilian family whose deli was born in 1978 in the countryside of Solarino and today sits inside the Ortigia market in Siracusa, where the stalls look out to the sea. They keep alive the flavours of the island, working the old way and without preservatives.

A smooth Sicilian garlic spread, rich and aromatic. Lovely on warm bruschetta, brushed over grilled meat or fish, or stirred into a sauce to give it a base. A little goes a long way.

Ingredients: garlic (80%), extra virgin olive oil (15%), mint, oregano, parsley, red pepper, black pepper
