Vegan ragù of tomatoes, aubergines, celery and carrots, slow cooked into a layered sauce: warm it and toss it with pasta.
Only vegetables and herbs go into this ragù, cooked slowly. It comes from Fratelli Burgio, a Sicilian family deli since 1978 (first Solarino, now the Ortigia market in Siracusa), made without preservatives.
How to use it
- Warm it for 5 minutes in a pan with a little extra virgin olive oil, then add your pasta.
- With risotto, or as a base for vegetable dishes.
