Cold-worked Modica chocolate with 50% cocoa and 10% roasted Sicilian almonds, to break into squares or chop over desserts.
In Sicily the Modica method has been kept alive for centuries: the chocolate is worked cold and the sugar never fully melts. Ciokarrua follows it, which gives a grainy crunch and an intense cocoa flavour, here with roasted almonds.
How to use it
- In squares, with coffee.
- Chopped over desserts or gelato.
