Mista Corta by Pastificio Gentile is an IGP durum wheat semolina pasta, made in Gragnano, the birthplace of the Italian pasta tradition. This mix consists of six different short pasta shapes in one package, inspired by the tradition of combining pantry leftovers into a single dish. The pasta is traditionally cut using bronze dies and then slowly dried at a low temperature.
Thanks to the trafilatura al bronzo, the pasta acquires a rough and porous surface, allowing sauces and broths to adhere to it exceptionally well. This makes Mista Corta ideally suited for wet, creamy dishes such as soups and minestrone, and for traditional Italian classics like pasta e patate.
