Description
Gentile Pennette Rigate literally means 'small feathers'. The name refers to the oblique ends of the paste, reminiscent of the tip of an old-fashioned writing pen. 'Rigate' means ribbed and refers to the ridges on the outside of the pasta.
Thanks to the ribbed surface, the pennette have extra grip on sauces, so that both rich tomato sauces and creamy sauces adhere well to the pasta.
