Cappuliato - Sicilian Chopped Sundried Tomatoes Pesto - Fratelli Burgio

The Burgio brothers are a Sicilian family whose deli was born in 1978 in the countryside of Solarino and today sits inside the Ortigia market in Siracusa, where the stalls look out to the sea. They keep alive the flavours of the island, working the old way and without preservatives.

Ingredients: chopped sundried tomatoes (70%), extra virgin olive oil (10%), basil (8%), capers (5%), fennel seeds (3%), oregano (2%), black pepper (1%), red pepper (1%).

Once opened, keep in the fridge and cover the product with extra virgin olive oil.

Match: perfect on bruschetta, on pasta or in soups to lift the taste. Also amazing with cheese. Product from Sicily.
